Dysport
Botox and Dysport are both brand name products that are considered neuromodulators. These products work by inhibiting muscle contraction and as a result softening fine lines and wrinkles. These products typically reduce muscle contraction in the forehead, crow’s feet area and between the eyebrows and also have some lower face uses.
Typical treatments take 5-15 minutes and results are seen within 5-14 days. Immediately post-treatment, patients are advised to remain upright for 3 hours and avoid any strenuous activity until the following day.
There is minimal discomfort associated with the treatment and patients typically return for their next treatment within 3-4 months.
Medical providers choose the appropriate amount of Botox or Dysport units needed to achieve the desired outcome. Consultations are required prior to treatment. A $100 consultation fee is due at the time of booking and may be applied to any treatment scheduled within 2 months of the consultation. Treatments may be offered the same day as the consultation.
Restylane fillers
Restylane Dermal Fillers are hyaluronic fillers that are used to add volume to areas such as the lips, jaw, chin, temples and cheeks and to fill in fine lines and add volume. These reversible gels are synthetically created gels made of a sugar that is naturally occurring in our own skin. Results appear natural with a hydrated, plump appearance.
Treatments typically take 20-45 minutes and may take one or multiple syringes to achieve the desired result. Results are typically seen immediately with mild swelling also present. Optimal results are typically seen 2-3 weeks post-treatment.
There is minimal discomfort associated with the treatment and patients are offered distraction and comfort techniques.
